Architecture :: COR Building designed by Oppenheim Architecture + Design

Seeing this space-age looking, surreal photo, I was curious what this building was all about. I came to find that it is actually the projected design photos for COR building in Miami, with spaces for mostly condominiums and offices. The first photo shows the roof-top penthouse where there would be energy efficient wind turbines that provide power for the building. The wind turbine feature is would not be the only sustainable energy form in the building, but the perforated and polka dot design provide insulation and natural cooling. Other sustainable energy features of the building include “solar panels, LED lighting, green roofs, integrated photovoltaics, and graywater collection and reuse” (alpolic-usa.com)

You can read more in depth about  the design concept on archdaily.com. I’m not sure if the structure has yet been completed but if so, what a beautiful, Earth-conscious, futuristic architectural masterpiece. I would love to see the inside of the penthouse and the views from inside!
