I was curious when I came across this guest house set perfectly in Sarasota Bay in Florida, designed by TOTeMS Architecture. The shape seemed unusual and what inspired the shape, I came to find out, were the surrounding oak trees that have been shaped by the coastal winds.  You can see by the first photo below that the curves almost mimic the wind blown tree. I wouldn’t mind being a guest at this inspired and well thought out home among the trees!
