Floored :: Genius Vintage Stair Runner Tutorial

One of my favorite blogs is Wit & Delight. If you don’t have Kate Arends on your instagram feed yet stop what your doing and add her. I have been thinking about the boring beige carpet on my stairs for a long time. I want to give them an update with wood and a runner. I was so excited to see this idea to take mix and match vintage rugs and turn them into a stair runner. It’s brilliant! I instantly pinned this to my hidden home Pinterest board to create my dream stairs someday. The vintage runner on these craftsman stairs is so dreamy. The mix and match of vintage rugs really creates a cozy and worldly vibe.  See the full tutorial via Wit & Delight.

Tie the towel around the bolster with fringes on the ends for a patriotic style pillow. When your done using it as a pillow you can take the towel to to the beach, pool or use as a tablecloth.
