DIY :: Geometric Stenciling

Lately I have been inspired by almost any geometric pattern I see. Part of it I know is the DIYable appeal.  It is a way to make a bold, colorful statement in a room for little to know cost. Here are some photos to inspire the DIYer in you…. think paint, tape and any white surface.

This transformed rug courtesy of Design Sponge was created using a plain white Ikea rug, painters tape, and pink paint. Click here for a step by step of the process.

In this kitchen via dwell, the cabinets bring a unique element to the room with a black triangular pattern cut from contact paper.

This reusable wall pattern stencil created by Holly Jones can be purchased here on Etsy.

Another great pattern from Holly Jones found here at Cute Stencils shop on Etsy.

This Geometric wall hanging found on Design Sponge is a plain white sheet transformed by triangles and can bring life to a wall, a window covering, a bed covering.

Have you done any experimenting with geometric stenciling? How did it turn out?
