DIY :: Reupholstered Outdoor Chairs

Are you in need of seating for your outdoor space? You might want to pop over to your local thrift store and see what they have in the chair department. Often times there are chair pairs that are in serious need of a revamp and that makes the price great. You have an eye for potential and can snatch those up and make them like new with a little paint and fabric. You + Old chairs = an outdoor seating masterpiece. Go for it! Hint: I’ve redone outdoor chairs in the past and a couple things I learned is to buy an outdoor fabric will fade less in the sun, like Sunbrella. Also, if you want your cushions to be water proof, you can either get a vinyl material or simply buy a clear shower curtain and staple it over the fabric of your choice. Here are some photos that may spark your inspiration….

Happy DIYing!
