DIY :: Suitcase Redo

It’s likely you’ve seen or maybe you have vintage suitcases stacked on top of each other to make a nightstand or end table. I like the look because it gives the room a well traveled/well collected look and the bonus is that you have a storage option as well. Old suitcases are not hard to find and they are like a blank canvas to bring interesting patterns and colors into your room. Below is a DIY to try: Simply add fabric with mod podge for a super easy way to freshen up the suitcase with patterns and colors of your choosing. This photo comes from Ideas Mag where you can find full instructions as well.

Beyond suitcases there are also trunks, crates, boxes, drawers… what else can be stacked and made into a table?

Happy Handcrafting! -Lacey
