DIY Tuesday :: Travel Memorabilia with Style

If your like me you have maps, matchbooks, cocktail napkins and ticket stubs saved from favorite trips. When I travel I keep things from a favorite restaurant, hotel or museum. My intention has always been to do something artistic with it. Maybe a framed college from our trips to Italy, Greece, London and Paris. Well this has never happened. These things sit in drawers and boxes. Not anymore. I love this idea of painting wooden boxes to hold this special memorabilia. It’s much easier than creating a scrap book or work of art. Plus this way you can easily take down the box to touch and hold these memories. The bonus is it adds to your well layered and accessorized bookshelf. A simple visit to the craft store and you will be on our way to vaca memory organizational bliss!

Do you need help with your bookcase? I can help with a custom Decorator in a Box! Contact me for a quote.
