If you love the idea of the kids getting involved by making ornaments for the tree, but you want to move past construction paper and Elmer’s glue for a more sophisticated look, then this is the project for you! There are endless possibilities when it comes to clear glass bulbs. Simply remove the top metal piece and have the kids fill the ball with materials such as colored yarn, twine, feathers, colorful magazine scraps, glitter, confetti, the list goes on. Add enough of these with a similar color scheme and you can really make a beautiful bold color statement on your tree.
Have you done handmade ornaments with your kids? What did you make and how did it go?
