Kiddo’s :: Ways to Silhouette Your Child

Silhouettes are popping up everywhere in design. Whether it is mixed into a photo wall, on a necklace or pillow it just makes for a nice personal touch. The DIY projects are endless and there are many tutorials online. Here are some ways to create a custom silhouette of your child.

One of my favorite ideas is from Apartment Therapy where they show a tutorial on how to make your own silhouette pillow HERE. If your not the DIY type there is a wonderful Etsy shop FourEyesHandmade that will do this for you.

 

 

 

A thoughtful gift idea is a  necklace for a mother with a silhouette of each child. My favorite is this sterling option from  LePapierStudio. You could also create your own necklace by hand tracing or using a computer program to make the silhouette. Then put the silhouettes in a locket.
