Romantic Dinner for Two

It’s Valentine’s week and I’m sure your planning that special evening with that someone who makes you blush. Sometimes staying in is more fun than going out. Here are the essentials to planning a romantic date night in for two.

What are some of your date plans?

Tip #1 – Chocolate is a must! No Valentine’s day is complete without it. Make your sweety even sweeter with this molten chocolate cupcake recipe via Martha Stewart.

Tip #2 – Fire things up with candles or just one good candle like this one via Anthropologie.

Tip #3 – Nothing says romance like twinkly lights. I like this style via Restoration Hardware.

Tip #4 – Wear red lips. I love this Kate Spade stick that even says “pucker up” in color peach snap.

Tip #5 – Sit together on a loveseat. This Anthropologie red settee would work nicely.

Tip #6 – Spell it out with typography accessories like the Jonathan Adler “love” pillow.

Tip #7 – Break out Nana’s vintage embroidered napkins…this is a special occasion after all. I love these vintage floral napkins via Etsy shop Lisa Burgess.

Tip #8 – Drink bubbles! This is as important as the chocolate. Make things even more bubbly with the Kate Spade Society Hill Flutes and Martha Stewart recommended bubbly Billecart-Salmon Brut Rose.
