I just re-discovered a design I did right before Christmas. When I saw the boards I remembered what a fun multi-functioning space it was. The idea was to create a family space, small office and guest sleeping pad. I achieved a guest sleeping pad by putting a sleeper sectional in the space. A small office was created by putting a desk behind the sectional with bookcases or secretary option on the back wall. All of this made for a great multi-use space to meet the client traditional/ informal style and budget. Get more Decorator in a Box sneak peeks on our portfolio page. Enjoy!
I had so much fun working on this design for a family moving from NYC to Brooklyn. The home is currently under construction, but I was still able to create a custom design for them. They emailed me a floorplan of the space along with photos of some existing furniture and accessories to use. They also sent me to the building website and Pinterest boards which gave me an idea of style. It’s amazing what you can accomplish without even living in a home yet. Oh..I forgot to mention I included custom closet, pantry and wine bar designs. I think this place had the largest amount of closet storage of any of my New York designs. I hope you enjoy this Decorator in a Box Brooklyn sneak peek. See more sneak peeks at on the MyDIAB.com portfolio page.
