Textile Love :: Fair Trade Kantha Quilts

Are you looking to spruce up your lake or beach house before the Fourth of July guest arrive? These Kantha quilts would make a welcoming home accent. Bring color and warmth into a room by draping one across the back of a sofa or folding on a bed. These quilts are hand sewn in Calcutta, India. The fabric is vintage sari’s that have been purchased at a fair price in the impoverished area of Calcutta. You can feel good about contributing to this community and your guests will have a cozier stay. Here are a few of my favorites and you can see more at Connected Fair Trade.
