Weekend Project :: Geometric Headboard

I was thrilled to see this photo on babble from the red thread blog for inspiration to a headboard I’ve been waiting to finish. I have my own Ikea Hack from several old Ikea bookcases that I’ve repurposed, one being a headboard.  Right now I have two of the long side pieces above my bed as a headboard and a colorful paper pattern like this one might finish it off just right!

    My spring project is cleaning out closets and drawers. I would love this headboard to be my project next weekend!

    The colors are beautiful and I am always drawn to geometric.
